The Valid8 P25 ISSI CSSI Conformance Suites are suitable for testing compliance to standards for CAP, TIA, IETF in the P25 domain and includes an implementation of the P25 CAP ISSI/CSSI Conformance Test Tool (ICC Test Tool / ICCTT).
Loaders enable the user to run customizable message flows for many different protocols. Each Loaders focuses on a specific area (e.g. mobile security), interface (e.g. 5G SA N2) or protocol (e.g. SIP). These suites are extensible by the end user or by Valid8's engineering services.
The Valid8 Mobile UE Emulator provides a cost-effective, scalable, simulation solution for generating realistic 4G/5G UE calls in testing scenarios. It is available as a hardware solution with RF cards on our M5 platform, or it can run as a software-only solution without RF.
Simul8r enables the user to create and run customizable message flows for many different simulated protocols. Each Toolkit focuses on a specific area (e.g. mobile security), interface (e.g. 5G N2) or protocol (e.g. SIP). These Toolkits are extensible by the end user or by Valid8's engineering services.
Valid8’s Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) test solutions enable simulation, load and conformance testing of network devices. Example of TSN networks include automotive (infotainment, ADAS, Diagnostics over IP (DoIP) ), telecom fronthaul or industrial automation (OPC UA over TSN) environments. Time is critical in TSN networks and therefore for real-time communication with precise time boundaries for end-to-end latencies, all devices need to be synchronized with a common time reference. GPS is costly and satellites are not always accessible to the device. Therefore time in TSN networks is usually distributed using the IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol. IEEE 802.1AS is a focused subset of IEEE 1588 with sub-microsecond precision to support time synchronization over IEEE 802.11 WiFi
The IPv6 Test Solution offers a complete suite of protocol-based compliance testing hardware and software running on Valid8's M3 Core Network Emulator using IOL INTACT® software to test customer devices and equipment. IOL INTACT® (Improving Networks Through Automated Conformance Testing), a custom software test tool developed by The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL) which runs seamlessly on the Valid8 M3 Core Network Emulator.
The Valid8 UE Test Suite is suitable for testing a variety of features on the UE device including attach/detach, session establishment, IPv4/6, throughput, mission critical (MCX), flood messages, authentication, SMS, emergency attach, location, power-level, and mobility. It runs in conjunction with M5 UE Tester (required).
Diameter protocol signaling load is increasing due to subscriber growth. Operators need to prove their networks can scale reliably and have the necessary capacity and built-in redundancy. Network equipment manufacturers (NEMs) need to test at all stages of the product life-cycle and conduct acceptance testing at the operator.
The Valid8 Diameter Load Tester provides testing capabilities across numerous Diameter interfaces in fixed and mobile networks such as Cx, Dx, Ga, Gd, Gx, Gy, Nasreq, Rf, Rx, S6a, S6c, S6d, S6m, S6n, S6t, S13, Sd, Sh, Swx, T6ai, T6bi, Tsp, Zh.
GPRS Tunnelling Protocol (GTP) is an IP -based protocol that carries session information between nodes within a Mobile network. GTP consists of three separate sub-protocols, GTP-C, GTP-U and GTP'. GTP-C is used between SGSN and GGSN in 3G and between SGW and PGW in 4G to create, modify and delete sessions or PDP contexts. GTP-U is used between the RAN and the core network to carry the user-plane (U-plane) IPv4 or IPv6 data from the UE. GTP' (GTP prime) is used between the CDF and CGF to carry charging information. GTP uses either UDP or TCP transport protocol and there are different versions including v0, v1 and v2. The Valid8 GTP Load Tester provides testing capabilities across numerous GTP interfaces in fixed and mobile networks such as S2b, S5, S10, S11, Gn
The Valid8 MCPTT tester enables testing of SIP, Diameter, MBMS GTP and RTP with Floor Control on the LTE network up to 3GPP Rel 15. It includes test scenarios for MC-PTT (Push-to-talk), MC-Data and MC-Video.
REST is a common API architectural style based on HTTP that provides interoperability between computer systems on the Internet, between micro-services and was adopted by 3GPP for several interfaces in 5G. This solution allows the construction of complex REST requests that can be used for testing API features and performance under load.
RADIUS is an authentication, authorization, and accounting protocol used pervasively in telecom and datacom networks that manages network access. The Valid8 Radius Load Tester provides load testing capabilities across numerous Radius interfaces in fixed and mobile networks.
The SIGTRAN Mobile Application Part (MAP) is an SS7 protocol that provides an application layer for the various nodes in GSM and UMTS mobile core networks and GPRS core networks to communicate with each other in order to provide services to users. The Mobile Application Part is the application-layer protocol used to access the Home Location Register, Visitor Location Register, Mobile Switching Center, Equipment Identity Register, Authentication Centre, Short message service center and Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN). The CAMEL Application Part (CAP) is a signaling protocol used in the Intelligent Network architecture.
Extensible simulation toolkits for many protocols and application areas including CAP/CAMEL, COAP, Diameter, HELD, HTTP2 REST, GTP, LCSAP, LOST, MAP, Megaco, NGAP, NG911, NAS 4G/5G, PFCP, Radius, RANAP, S1AP, SBCAP, SIGTRAN, SIP, using Simul8
