
The Valid8 IoT Device Simulator – Lite provides a compact and cost-effective platform for emulating and validating 4G and 5G IoT devices. It enables realistic multi-device testing, automated functional validation, and early detection of issues before deployment in live networks.
Built on the M1 hardware, the system combines powerful hardware with an advanced protocol engine that emulates realistic network signalling,session handling, and device behavior. With two RF 2x2 MIMO cards, it provides the radio connectivity needed to perform realistic lab-based validation of both devices and network functions.
The platform includes licenses for 10 simultaneous 4G UEs and 10 simultaneous 5G UEs,allowing multiple devices to be emulated in parallel. This makes it possible to validate registration procedures, session establishment, traffic behavior, and multi-device interaction without depending on large numbers of physical devices.
The integrated IoT test harness enables automated and repeatable test execution, while the IoT device emulator reproduces realistic IoT device behavior such as network attachment, data exchange, and service interaction. Combined with the included IoT functional test suite, teams can quickly verify core functionality, run regression tests, and identify issues early in the development cycle.
