The Valid8 4G/5G Device Tester is a hardware-based test system designed for fast,consistent, and reliable validation of 4G and 5G devices. It combines apowerful RF test environment with integrated protocol and core networkfunctionality, enabling radio, signalling, and end-to-end device behaviour tobe validated within a single platform. Built on the hardware M1 platform and equipped with Valid8’s protocol engine, dual 2x2 MIMO RF cards, and full support for both 4G and 5G RAN,the tester provides a realistic and repeatable environment for devicequalification, regression testing, and functional verification.
With integrated 4G Mobile Core Lite and 5G Mobile Core Lite,test scenarios can be executed fully stand-alone without relying on externalnetwork infrastructure. The included 4G and 5G test harnesses, featuring stack and campaign selector UI,make it easy to configure, manage, and automate test campaigns. Combined withthe 4G UE Functional Test Suite and 5G UE Functional Test Suite, development and test teams can quickly validate device functionality across multiple protocol layers and network configurations.The Valid8 4G/5G Device Testeris designed for organizations that need a compact, powerful validationsolution for UE functionaltesting, protocol verification, regression testing, and pre-certification of 4Gand 5G devices.
