Valid8 attends NENA 2021 Conference and Expo

Valid8 recently attended the NENA 2021 Conference and Expo at the end of July. NENA serves the public safety community as the only professional organization solely focused on 9-1-1 policy, technology, operations, and education issues.

With more than 15,000 members in 48 chapters across North America and around the globe, NENA promotes the implementation and awareness of 9-1-1 and international three-digit emergency communications systems.

They work with public policy leaders; emergency services and telecommunications industry partners; like-minded public safety associations; and other stakeholder groups to develop and carry out critical programs and initiatives; to facilitate the creation of an IP-based Next Generation 9-1-1 system; and to establish industry leading standards, training, and certifications.

The event created a great opportunity for Valid8 to meet with other NENA members to better understand the unique and evolving requirements and the role conformance, security and feature testing will play.

As the industry evolves in its use of innovative technology such as NG911, to support emergency services, advanced testing and simulation technologies such as Valid8 will be critical to verify those products and bring them into use quickly and efficiently.
