WOBURN, MA, Dec 19, 2006 - Valid8.com ( www.valid8.com) today announced that it will participate in IMS Plugfest 2007, a landmark event designed to foster interoperability of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) products by establishing an industry-recognized InterOp certification for IMS services and applications. The IMS Plugfest is the first in a series of open testing events that will not only establish a certification process but also help raise awareness of the power and potential of IMS technology and the value of the IMS services.

The IMS Forum Test and Interoperability Working Group developed the Plugfest IMS Interoperability Test Plan. The group, which is open to all PlugFest participants, is working together with experts from the industry, including service and applications providers developing IMS building blocks, to create a comprehensive resource plan and related test scenarios for review.
