WOBURN, MA, April 28, 2010 - Valid8.com has enhanced its IUA Traffic Generator test solution for ISDN SIGTRAN gateways and softswitches. The IUA Traffic Generator is part of a broader suite of test products for SIGTRAN that include emulation and conformance testing all on one software platform.

This load tester enables engineers to simulate fifteen thousand calls across up to thirty two Application Servers at around one hundred calls per second.  The IUA test solution runs as a Signaling Gateway or Softswitch on one PC, eliminating the need for expensive hardware, and can easily be scaled up by adding PCs.

The IUA traffic generator allows users to test features such as perfomance under load, SCTP failover and ASP switchover. The ISDN payload and message flow can also be configured.

Reporting has also been significantly enhanced. The IUA traffic generator provides a wide range of statistical information at each layer, such as the number of packets, break-down by message type, number of calls, calls per second and average and cumulative volume. The user can easily access the data by logging in and downloading a file for off-line analysis.
