Media Analyzer performs real-time RTP stream detection and analysis of A/V lip-sync, jitter, packet loss, duplication, ordering and delay and calculates a metric called MOS pq, a objective performance quotient that uses the MOS scale of 1-5.
It is the ideal tool for troubleshooting and monitoring VoIP networks requiring little or no configuration, no pre-filtering, no stack selection, no rules, no complicated query languages. Analysis is performed using statistical analysis of the RTP layer enabling it to efficiently analyze streams with any payload type, on standard PC hardware hundreds of streams can be analyzed in real-time. The web interface allows the system to be efficiently operated remotely using a familiar desktop with windows, menus and icons.
